Join us for an important telephone town hall meeting this Wednesday!

The provincial government is planning to restructure the District Health Authorities soon. This process will affect each and every one of us, but especially those who work directly in the healthcare system.

This Wednesday, September 10th, starting at 7:30 p.m., the NSGEU will be holding an important telephone town hall meeting to update you on our talks with government on the restructuring of the DHAs.

NSGEU President Joan Jessome will be hosting the call, and she will be joined by NSGEU’s Directors of Negotiations & Servicing.

Participating in a telephone town hall meeting is easy. We will call you between 7:30 and 7:35 p.m. on Wednesday. During the meeting, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments, just like on a radio call-in show. The meeting will last about an hour, but you can leave at any time simply by hanging up.

Please make every effort to participate, as this is a matter of vital importance for all of us.
