The results of the Tuesday, August 13th ratification sessions are in: the new Local 41 collective agreement for Northwoodcare Bedford Inc. has been ratified, with 94% of the voting membership in favour of the new terms!
We will now begin the process of finalizing a document for signing. Once this process is complete, we will canvass the employer to determine when our members might expect to see the new rates on their pay and when retro pay will be issued. In the interim, if you know of anyone who has recently left the employ of Northwoodcare Bedford Inc. and who would be entitled to retroactive wages, please encourage them to contact the employer.
