NSGEU is encouraging members to attend events organized by the Nova Scotia Citizens’ Health Care Network regarding the future of home care in Nova Scotia.

Bridgewater Rally to Protect Home Care

Bridgewater MLA Mark Furey has finally agreed to meet with constituents and discuss the NS Liberals’ plan to privatize home care. Contracting out home care to for-profit corporations will mean less care for patients, and less support for caregivers.

Our loved ones deserve better. Home care should be fully covered under public health care, not sold off to the lowest bidder!

In order to convince Mark Furey to protect patients and reject privatized home care we need lots of support.

Come out, make some noise and tell him to protect care and caregivers!
