Local 87-Parkland at the Lakes Bargaining Update: Strike Vote Results
Good morning,
The results of your strike vote are in and members have voted overwhelmingly in support of their Bargaining Committee and in favour of a strike.
Ninety per cent (90%) of those who voted, voted to strike.
This strong strike mandate will give the Bargaining Committee strength as they move into the next phase of negotiations – conciliation.
Your Bargaining Committee thanks you for your solidarity and support as they continue to work to negotiate a fair agreement with the Employer. We will keep you updated as the process unfolds.
