Local 67 – Veith House Bargaining Update: Conciliation Scheduled

Your bargaining committee exchanged proposals with your employer on April 13th, 2021 and have completed four days of bargaining through May, June, and July. We have had some agreement on additional language gains, however, we have not been successful on reaching agreement on wages or the creation of a pension plan. Your bargaining committee felt this offer is unacceptable.

The union filed for conciliation, and we are now scheduled for conciliation to begin on Monday, November 29th.

A local meeting will be held on Thursday, November 25th at noon via Microsoft Teams so we can discuss specifics of bargaining, conciliation, and next steps. The link and the agenda will be sent out to you by your Local President Katie Scrine. Please make every effort to attend this important meeting and help spread the word among your co-workers.
