Human Rights Flag Design Contest!
NSGEU Human Rights Committee is asking all NSGEU members to help with the design for a Human Rights flag. We are looking for a symbol or picture that best describes the following:
“Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, national or ethical origin, color, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible.”
The contest runs from TODAY, Sept. 11 to Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, with the reveal of the flag on Human Rights Day, December 10th.
The winner will be picked by the NSGEU Executive Team and awarded a $200.00 Visa gift card.
All submissions should be emailed to melissa.marsman525@gmail.com.
Please include your name, phone number and local number.
The subject of your email should read: HUMAN RIGHTS FLAG
In solidarity,
NSGEU Human Rights Committee
