Local 56 – Shannex, Blomidon Court Bargaining Update

Good afternoon,

Yesterday, members of the Local 56 bargaining committee met with Employee Relations Officer Corry Mac Kinnon to begin working on the proposals that the committee will take to the bargaining table on behalf of the Local.

The committee took time to go over the analysis of the surveys completed by the members in 2017 and to draw up a list of issues that are priorities to members, based on that information.

As the surveys are two years old, the committee would like to extend the opportunity for members to bring forth any new issues/concerns that they may want the committee to address through the collective bargaining process.
