Local Meeting

You’re invited to discuss local structure and to hold elections to fill vacant executive positions. NSGEU President Joan Jessome will be in attendance.

Good afternoon,

We are holding an important meeting for your local (Local 189) on Monday, January 18th at 7 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to address concerns with your local structure, give an update on bargaining, and to answer any questions you may have. NSGEU President Joan Jessome and your Employee Relations Officer, Gina Boyd, will both be in attendance.

As per NSGEU financial policies, the union covers travel and child/eldercare costs associated with attending local meetings. Time off work to attend local meetings is not covered by the union.
