Local 39 – Home Support (Inverness County) Tentative Agreement Reached, Info/Voting Sessions Scheduled

Good afternoon,

Your bargaining committee was able to reach a tentative agreement with your employer after several days at the negotiation table. A ratification meeting will be held on Thursday, November 21st at the Mabou Fire Hall.

There will be two information sessions held: one from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the second from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Your bargaining committee will be on hand to answer any questions and make a presentation of the proposed changes. Local members may vote at either session with a ballot count taking place at 8 p.m. This will be your only opportunity to vote on your tentative agreement, so please attend one of the sessions.
