Reminder of importance of workplace safety protocols and PPE
Dear members,
Thank you all for providing valuable public services at this difficult time. This new variant is proving to be one of our greatest challenges so far and it is very important that you keep up with your workplace health & safety protocols. There are more positive cases in the community than we have ever had and it is essential you have the proper PPE, that it fits properly, and that you are using appropriate safety protocols.
If you encounter work situations you feel are unsafe, or if you do not have appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) please report these to your supervisor. You do have the right to refuse unsafe work. You can contact the NSGEU if you choose to do this and need any support.
Thank you and please be safe.
