President’s New Year Message
Dear members,
After navigating a very rocky road together over the past 12 months, here we are, standing on the precipice of another New Year. A lot of us are understandably worried about what we will find in 2022. Rather than try and predict what the New Year will hold, I’ve been trying to reflect back on what we have accomplished over the past year.
There is so much for us to be very proud of: our small but mighty province has weathered the COVID storm remarkably well thus far. As of today, more than 1.7 million doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in our province. We have come together, taken care of one another, and stepped up to do important work at a very difficult moment in history. This needs to be celebrated, although not many people feel like celebrating right now.
So, I am asking that this New Year’s Eve, please take a moment to reflect back on your personal accomplishments and your contributions to our collective efforts – however minor they may seem. The work you do, delivering public services in this province, is incredibly important, and I am so grateful for your efforts.
Please, be safe. Hopefully, there are brighter times ahead for us all in 2022.
In solidarity,
Jason MacLean
President
