Local 38 Bargaining Update

Dear Local 38 members,

As you are aware, ratification sessions were held on November 17 and 18, 2021. The results from the vote were that the membership has rejected the tentative agreement brought forward by the employer and bargaining committee, where the committee had recommended acceptance.

After meetings were held with the members to review next steps, the bargaining team and employer have agreed to return to the bargaining table on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 for another full day of bargaining in hopes of bringing back another tentative agreement that is more satisfactory to the members.

The bargaining teams hopes for this to be a productive session and that members know that their voices have been heard.
