National Day of Mourning, April 28

We remember workers who have died, were injured, or became ill from their job.

We commit to protecting workers and preventing further workplace tragedies.

In 2021, 20 workers lost their lives due to workplace accidents/illness.

The ceremony in Halifax will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Nova Scotia Legislature (Province House) outside grounds. Wreath laying invited.

Threads of Life will be holding an online ceremony at 11:00 am AST. Click here to register.
