Local 28 – Braeside Nursing Home Bargaining Update: Tentative Agreement Reached

As you are aware, your bargaining committee reached a tentative agreement with your employer and is recommending acceptance of the agreement.
Your committee members and NSGEU staff again wish to thank the members of Local 28 for their support throughout the process.

This is the update for the location of the information sessions and ratification vote.

Date: Friday, August 14, 2026
Time: 2pm – 4pm
Where: Pink Dining room at Braeside – 126 Higginsville Rd, Middle Musquodoboit.

A copy of the tentative agreement will be sent to you before the meeting.

Members of your bargaining committee and NSGEU staff will be in attendance to answer any questions you have. Please make every effort to attend the information/ratification vote session, as this will be your opportunity to vote on your tentative agreement. For greater clarification you can drop in at any point throughout the above time periods.
