Housing Authority Dates for Run-Off Vote Confirmed by Labour Board
The Nova Scotia Labour Board has officially confirmed the dates for the upcoming run-off vote for the Nova Scotia Provincial Housing Agency. There will be a 14-day campaign period that will begin on September 8 and end on September 21.
Eligible members from the Trades, Maintenance, Grounds and Custodial classifications will vote electronically over two days, September 22 and 23.
Eligible members from the Clerical, Technical and Professional classifications will vote electronically over two days, September 28 and 29.
Reminder there will be no vote for the Supervisor Bargaining Unit as the Labour Board has already ordered they will be represented by the NSGEU by acclamation.
The complete results of the run-off votes will be announced by the Labour Board.
A schedule will be developed where unions will be permitted to visit your worksites and campaign for your vote.
