Local 42 – Canadian Blood Services – Operations & Support Bargaining Update: Additional Bargaining Dates Required

Your bargaining committee met with your employer again on August 18th and 19th. Through long hours of discussion, the parties worked to find a tentative agreement that meets the needs you have brought to your bargaining committee. The work you do every day at Canadian Blood Services is life-saving and essential work, and your contract should reflect that.

We could not cross the finish line this week to bring you the tentative agreement you deserve, but the parties have agreed to meet again in September/October to try to reach an agreement. We will update you once those further meetings have taken place.
