Health Support Services Week, October 19-23

From October 19- 23, we are celebrating Health Support Services Recognition Week.

This week is dedicated to recognizing the crucial contributions of our members who work behind the scenes to keep Nova Scotia’s healthcare system running smoothly.

These members are indispensable to health care. Their vital work ensures patients receive the best possible care and that our frontline staff have the support and resources they need.

The NSGEU will be visiting the following worksites throughout the week:

Monday, October 19:

· Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital from 8:00 AM. To 10:00 AM.

· Musquodoboit Valley Hospital from 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM

· Twin Oaks 2:00 PM 3:30 PM  

Tuesday, October 20:

· VG site from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM

· IWK (Biomed Group) for 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM

· Bayer’s Lake 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM

Wednesday, October 21:

· VMB (ABJL) Site From 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

· Halifax Infirmary from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Thursday, October 22:

· Hants from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM

· Cobequid Center for 11:15 AM to1:00 PM

· East Coast Forensics 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM 

Friday, October 23:

· Dartmouth General 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM

· Nova Scotia Hospital and Laundry Service’s 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM
