Local 93,94,95 Public Health, Addiction Services, Continuing Care members, District Health Authorities 1-8 – Looking for Volunteers
Last week, the NSGEU held a telephone town hall call with members of Locals 93, 94 & 95, who provide valuable services in Public Health, Addiction Services and Continuing Care. During that call, we discussed the government’s plans to restructure the District Health Authorities (DHAs), and how this will affect people in your Local and workplace.
The NSGEU is working to ensure our members’ bargaining rights and collective agreements are protected throughout this process. In order to do this, we need your help!
We are looking for volunteers from members in Locals 93, 94 and 95 who would like to assist with this campaign. There are many roles you can play, as we are looking for site leaders who would communicate with members in the workplace, and core team members who would help organize the campaign.
If you are interested in getting involved, please contact campaign coordinator Lori Smith by emailing lsmith@nsgeu.ca.
