Local 97 – Nurses at CDHA: Bargaining Resumes Today
Conciliation will resume today, as scheduled, as we are still trying to achieve a collective agreement with your employer. Another conciliation date is scheduled for Thursday, October 2nd.
Meanwhile, those aspects of the Essential Services agreement that we could not agree on with the employer were referred to the Labour Board last week. The Board has now scheduled a hearing for October 8 and 9. The board has determined it will then hand down a decision on the outstanding items no later than October 15th. The Board’s decision will conclude the essential services agreement, as required by Bill 37.
We will be providing an update on the new legislation shortly.
