Join us for a BBQ today!
Health care workers and their supporters are gathering again today at the Legislature (1726 Hollis Street) to continue to protest Bill 1, legislation that will force workers into unions of the government’s choosing.
This legislation is unprecedented in the history of labour relations in this country, and is an unjustifiable infringement on the union and its members’ rights to freedom of association.
Please, join us on the picket line today on your lunch break and show your support for these workers! We’ll be providing a free barbecue lunch starting at 1 p.m., as well.
This is a fight for democracy: it affects all of us.
