Health Care Workers’ Emergency Meetings
We are holding a series of emergency meetings for all members of Local 19 (Support Services), Local 42 (Health Care), Local 22 (Health Care at the IWK), Local 23 (Administrative Professionals at the IWK), Local 97 (Nursing) and Local 246 (Administrative Professionals at Capital Health) affected by Bill 1 tomorrow (Monday, February 23rd) and Tuesday, February 24th at the NSGEU office (255 John Savage Avenue).
The purpose of these meetings is to discuss arbitrator James Dorsey’s recent decision, the government’s reaction to the decision, and our plan of action.
It is critical that you make every effort to attend one of the following sessions:
WHEN: Monday, February 23rd, 7 p.m.
Tuesday, February 24th, 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
We look forward to meeting with you on Monday or Tuesday.
