PUBLIC EVENTS: Discussion of The Future of Home Care
The Nova Scotia Citizen’s Health Care Network is hosting a series of public town hall meetings on “The Future of Home Care: People or Profit?”
The provincial government plans to open home care to competitive bidding. Come share your experience with home care, and find out how these changes will impact patients, caregivers and health workers.
We’d like to encourage all members – not just home care workers – to attend, especially those who have loved ones in receipt of home support services.
Upcoming Meeting Dates:
- New Glasgow: Thursday, April 16, 7 p.m., the Holiday Inn Express New Glasgow (86 Lawrence Blvd.)
- Sydney: Tuesday, April 21, 7 p.m., the Royal Canadian Legion branch 128 (10 Wesley Street)
