Civil Service Arbitration Hearing Dates Set

As you may recall there was an issue related to wages resulting from your new collective agreement. After the collective agreement was ordered the employer indicated they would not compound the wages as outlined in the arbitrators’ order. The union filed a grievance on behalf of the members.

The arbitration hearing dates for this grievance have been set for February 5th, 6th, and 9th.

The employer has confirmed that this process will not impact the retroactivity pay date scheduled for February 5th. You will be paid your retro pay on that date. The employer has agreed that any further adjustments resulting from the grievance will be made at a later date.
