Local 19 – Tentative Agreement Ratified
| The Local 19 membership has voted to ratify the tentative agreement. Ballots were counted at NSGEU Head Office on January 21st and 57% of those who cast  ballots voted to accept the final offer that had been presented by the  employer.While the membership did ratify the offer there was clear disappointment in not achieving the 3.5% long service increment that had been proposed by the union.The union has requested information from the employer regarding the timing of retroactive wage payments and will issue an update once the information is received.The Bargaining Committee thanks you for your support during this round of talks.
