Local 222: Bargaining Update Online Voting Ratification Scheduled

As you are aware, your Bargaining Committee has reached a tentative agreement with the Employer and your Bargaining Committee is recommending acceptance.

Your bargaining committee will hold an in-person and online Tentative Agreement (TA) presentation and meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. on June 14. In-person attendees can join the meeting at the NSGEU at 255 John Savage Avenue.

Please watch for an email in the coming days with a link and instructions on how to join the TA presentation/meeting virtually.

Members will have the opportunity to ask questions about the TA and the bargaining process at this meeting.

The online ratification will take place will begin at 8 p.m. on June 14^th and end at 4 p.m. on June 16^th. Only signed members are eligible to vote.

Information about the electronic ratification vote:

The electronic vote will go live on June 14 at 8:00 p.m. and close on June 16 at 4:00 p.m.

You will receive an email with your PIN number and a link to the voting site by 10 a.m. on June 15. This PIN number allows you to vote.

If you do not receive an email with a PIN by 10:00 a.m. on June 15th, please check your junk mail/spam folders for an email from voterinfo@intelivote.com . If you are unable to find the email, call the NSGEU HELPLINE at 902-424-4063 or toll-free at 1-877-556-7438 for assistance, and we will be able to arrange a PIN number for you which will allow you to e-vote. The NSGEU can take your calls Monday- Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

The email with the e-vote information will also include how you can vote by phone should you wish to. We will send out a reminder to vote, so continue to watch your emails.

Please talk to your coworkers to ensure they have voted and/or received the email with their PIN. If they have not, please ask them to check their junk mail and/or call the NSGEU.
