Local 36 – Antigonish & Area Homemaker Service Bargaining Update: Proposals Exchanged
Contract negotiations between your employer and the union began on Tuesday, December 12th.
The union has proposed many changes in your collective agreement. Our proposals include increases to your wages and premiums, and improvements to the hours of work, overtime, and travel language.
Future bargaining dates are being scheduled and you will be updated once dates have been confirmed.
Your bargaining committee would like to thank you for your ongoing support and will work diligently toward achieving a fair agreement for all members of Local 36.
