Local 55 – Workers Compensation Board Bargaining Update: Tentative Agreement Reached
After five days of negotiations, your bargaining committee is very pleased to announce that they have reached a tentative agreement with your employer and are recommending acceptance of this agreement.
We are now in the process of creating a detailed ratification document, scheduling information sessions, and coordinating a ratification vote. The detailed ratification document will be sent to you prior to the information sessions and ratification vote.
Here are the Highlights your tentative agreement includes:
- 3 year Agreement with no concessions; Effective January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023
- Wage Pattern to match Civil Service
- January 1, 2021 – 1.5%
- January 1, 2022 – 1.5%
- January 1, 2023 – 3.0%
- December 31, 2023- 0.5%
- Holiday Improvements – Heritage Day & Truth and Recognition Day added to list of general Holidays
- Health Spending Account to increase to $1000 effective January 1, 2023
- Standby compensation to be increase to $20 & $40 effective December 31, 2023
- Transportation compensation – match Civil Service compensation
- Employer to maintain Flexible Workplace Policy.
- Gender Neutral, Gender Expression & Respectful Workplace language added
- Diversity and Inclusion language added
- Job Posting & Staffing process improvements
- Anniversary Date language added.
- Pregnancy/Parental/Adoption Leave Language Updated.
- Resolution of Policy and Individual Grievances re: Anniversary Date, Date of Salary Increment, Classifications, & Illness during Vacation
