Local 73 – Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education Information Session & Ratification Schedule

There will be three information/ratification sessions held Tuesday, November 8. We’re asking picket lines to attend specific sessions due to room capacity. If you have extenuating circumstances, please advise your picket captain that you will need to attend a different session, so we can ensure there’s space for you, or that your concerns are addressed.

You must attend a session below in order to cast a vote.

The sessions will be held as follows:

Session #1 – For New Minas picket line

• TIME: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• LOCATION: Old Orchard Inn (153 Greenwich Rd. S, Wolfville, NS)

Session #2 – For Berwick & Windsor picket lines

• TIME: 10 a.m. to noon
• LOCATION: Old Orchard Inn (153 Greenwich Rd. S, Wolfville, NS)

Session #3 – For Annapolis, Bridgetown & Kingston picket lines

• TIME: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• LOCATION: Lawrencetown District Fire Hall (549 Main Street, Lawrencetown, Annapolis County)

Please make sure you attend your session: this will be your only opportunity to hear the details of the tentative agreement, ask questions of your bargaining committee and negotiators, and cast your ballot!

The vote will conclude at 3 p.m. Tuesday. We expect to have vote results counted and ready to share with the local shortly afterwards.
