Local 78B – National Passenger Services: Tentative Agreement & Ratification Vote Details

Dear member,

Your Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement with the Employer and is recommending acceptance. You can request a copy of this tentative agreement by contacting the Resource Centre at inquiry@nsgeu.ca. We have also mailed this document to your home address on file. Please watch for this and if you do not receive it, contact the Union because it may mean we do not have your correct contact information.

We have scheduled two upcoming information sessions to discuss the tentative agreement reached by your Bargaining Committee. They will be held using Zoom.

Information Meetings (by Zoom)

Tuesday, July 27 – 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday, July 28 – 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

You will be sent links to these meetings closer to the dates, so please continue to watch your email and make every effort to attend one of these meetings.

Ratification Vote

Following the information sessions, we will be holding a ratification vote at the NSGEU office (in person) between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3; Wednesday, August 4; and Thursday, August 5. At least one member of the Bargaining Committee will be present during the ratification vote to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
