“Clerical/administrative work is essential to making organizations work. It is conceptualized as routine, and is largely invisible until it is not done. Then things fall apart.”
Marguerite Cassin, Professor of Public Policy and Management,
School of Public Administration, Dalhousie University
Administrative Professionals truly are at the heart of public service in Nova Scotia. They are the smiling faces greeting the public, the capable voices answering questions, and sharp minds keeping workplaces organized and running smoothly.
The NSGEU represents over 6,000 Administrative Professionals throughout the province. We recognize the important role they play in their workplace as we celebrate Administrative Professionals’ Week (April 19 – 25) and Administrative Professionals’ Day (Wed., April 22)
So, thank you for the work you do for all Nova Scotians!
Feel free to post at your workplace where appropriate.
