LONG TERM CARE

NSGEU members including continuing care assistants, licenced practical nurses, housekeepers, support workers, and maintenance and dietary staff provide the quality care Nova Scotians need in long-term care facilities. These workers are governed by the Trade Union Act and have the right to strike.
