WHAT: Telephone town hall meeting, Home Support Local Executive Members

WHEN:  Monday, July 6^th, 7 p.m.

On Monday, July 6th, the NSGEU is holding an important telephone town hall meeting with all home support local executive members to discuss issues of contracting out and privatization; to hear from locals across the province; what has been done so far; and what our next steps will be!

Monday’s meeting will be hosted by NSGEU President Joan Jessome. We realize many of you have questions about what stage the government and your employers are at with their efforts to further privatize home support services, and how your jobs and clients may be affected. It is critical that you make every effort to participate in the call, so you can ask questions and find out what you can do to help!

Participating in a telephone town hall meeting is easy. We will call you between 7:00 and 7:05 p.m. on Monday, July 6th. During the call, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments. The meeting call will last about 90 minutes, but you can leave at any time simply by hanging up.
