Important Meeting for Acute Health Care Workers

As background, during the recent Board of Directors Meeting held Friday, May 1, 2015, executive recommendations were put forward to the Board to establish new Acute Care Locals. The next step is for all new locals to hold an inaugural meeting to elect a new local executive, regional and occupational councillors.

Please note that occupational councillors will be elected by bargaining unit to allow participation in the appropriate Occupational Council (ie Admin professionals will elect occupational councillors based on the number of members for admin who will attend the Trade Union Clerical Occupational Council).
