Mileage and Meal(s) will be covered per the NSGEU Policy as noted below:

For members travelling over meal times exceptions will be made so that meals will be covered outside of the Imprest Policy.  These exceptions are pursuant to Policy 18.8 “maximums: Breakfast $12, Lunch $15, Dinner $20 (gratuities are included and receipts not required).

Members requiring hotel accommodation will be referred to the NSGEU secretary, Angela Fitzgerald, email at afitzgerald@nsgeu.ca, to have these booked and billed directly to NSGEU.  These are room and tax only.

The Local Treasurer will pay all expenses in accordance with Policy 3.1 with the exceptions noted in this email other than hotel expenses are billed directly to NSGEU.

 If your sub-local does not currently have a Treasurer in place, please forward your Expense Claim form the NSGEU Head Office, attention: Angela Fitzgerald, for reimbursement.
