Young Workers Committee Meet & Greet in Dartmouth

If you are 35 and under, the ad hoc Young Workers Committee (YWC) would like to invite you to attend an open house/meet and greet session at one of our four provincial offices!

Come and share what you do at your work, learn more about how the NSGEU works for you, and help us learn what we can better do to support young workers like yourself.

We are hosting a series of drop-in sessions where you can stop by to connect with other workers from your area and chat with a committee member to learn more about the NSGEU.

There will be snacks and refreshments, prize draws throughout the day, and a chance to win a $25 gift card door prize at each session!

We hope to see you at one of our events:

• April 23 between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. in Room 137 at the NSGEU Office, 255 John Savage Avenue, Dartmouth.
• April 23 between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. in Suite 14 at the NSGEU Office, 850 Grand Lake Road, Sydney.
• April 30 between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. at the NSGEU Office, 120 Esplanade Street, Truro.
• May 7 between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. in Suite 103 at the NSGEU Office, 396 Main Street, Yarmouth.

The Ad Hoc Young Workers Committee (YWC) is dedicated to creating awareness of the NSGEU, while encouraging young workers to become more active within the labour movement. With the support of experienced activists, the committee engages members between the ages of 18-35 in order to promote succession planning and bridge the generational gap within the NSGEU.
