Press conference was held on June 7 to protest job cuts at StFX University
Antigonish – NSGEU President Joan Jessome was joined by Peter McInnis, the President of the St.F.X. Association of University Teachers (St.F.X.AUT), , and Angus MacGillivray, President of CAW Local 2107, at a press conference to respond to the announcement of the elimination of 28 support staff positions at the University including 17 layoffs and continued job reductions through attrition.
