Important Reminder About Vacation Carry Over Hours
The NSGEU recognizes the importance of vacation entitlements under the provisions of Article 17 for our members.
If after submitting your yearly vacation, offers of alternate choices if necessary and repeated denials of ad-hoc vacation have resulted in the inability to use your vacation by March 31st, 2017, please submit an email request to your manager to carry over any unused vacation hours by January 31st. This is covered in the provisions of Article 17.08/17.09 of the Admin Professional, Healthcare, Nursing and Support collective agreements.
If you have been denied carry over or have any question or concerns please contact the union at 902-424-4063 (toll-free 1-877-556-7438).
