Clerical/Administrative Professional Vote Results
Good afternoon,
The vote to create a single NSGEU administrative professional bargaining unit which would represent all clerical and administrative professional members working in the District Health Authorities and the IWK concluded at 5 p.m. today.
An overwhelming majority – 95 per cent – voted in favour of the NSGEU consolidating all Clerical & Administrative Professional locals (which includes Clerical & Administrative Professional members from Locals 23, 89, 90, 91, 93, 94, 95 and 246) into one.
This strong vote result gives us a much better chance of ensuring we can continue to represent you, our valued members.
Thank you so much for participating in this vote, and showing your confidence in us as your union representative.
We eagerly await the arbitrator’s decision, which we will receive Friday morning, and will share this information with you on Friday.
