Health Care Nursing: You’re Invited to a Telephone Town Hall
WHAT: Telephone town hall meeting, Nursing
WHEN: Monday, March 23rd, 8 p.m.
On Monday, March 23rd, the NSGEU is holding an important telephone town hall meeting with all Nursing members of Local 22, 42, 93, 94, 95 and 97 to discuss the agreement reached with the Premier on the creation of Health Councils under the new Provincial Health Authority, which will be in place on April 1st.
The meeting will be hosted by NSGEU President Joan Jessome. We realize many of you have questions on how this affects you in bargaining, union representation and your collective agreement. We will also be explaining a vote that is required by the NS Labour Board. It is critical that you make every effort to participate in the call.
Participating in a telephone town hall meeting is easy. We will call you between 8:00 and 8:10 p.m. on Monday, March 23rd. During the call, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments. The meeting call will last about 90 minutes, but you can leave at any time simply by hanging up.
If you do not receive a phone call the evening of the event, please call 902-982-2258 for instructions on joining the event.
Please make every effort to participate on this very important call.
