Local 131 – High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care: Bargaining Update

Dear member,

Your bargaining committee met on Wednesday, July 14^th and reviewed the initial bargaining proposals sent by the employer for your first collective agreement. The committee reviewed all articles and we will be sending back counter proposals to the employer within the next several weeks. There will be back and forth with the employer trying to establish agreement on the majority of the articles prior to our initial meeting.

Any outstanding language proposals and discussions on monetary issues, such as wages, pension, medical benefits, sick time and vacation, will be done in-person with dates yet to be determined, though your committee is hoping to meet with your employer in September.
