Local 18A – Cape Breton University Teachers Bargaining Update
Dear Local 18A members,
Your Bargaining Committee met with your Employer on December 4th, to exchange proposals. Negotiations continued on Dec. 5th, 6th, 12th & 13th. Negotiations were cordial and we were able to come to agreement on several non-monetary items. Your Employer requested additional time to consider and respond to our reclassification proposal which includes a wage adjustment or “catch up”. We have yet to table our full wage proposal package. Additional bargaining dates have been scheduled for Jan. 3rd and 4th.
