Local 18(MOS)CBU – Tentative Agreement Reached
Your bargaining committee is pleased to advise that on June 5th, 2013, a tentative agreement was reached between the union and your employer.
Your bargaining committee is recommending acceptance of the tentative agreement, which provides for wage increases of 1.75%, 1.5% and 2% over a three-year period, as well as improvements to vacation, shift differential, weekend premium, sick leave, travel and other language improvements. The package includes a $300.00 signing bonus and an agreement that will ensure that should the total economic increase provided to another unionized group on campus exceed the total economic increase for Local 18, NSGEU (MOS), the difference will be applied to the August 1, 2014 MOS wage scale.
We will be sending your package containing full details of the tentative agreement. A date for the information and voting session will be determined shortly, and provided within your package. Please note that voting will take place during the information session and will be your only opportunity to vote.
Your bargaining committee thanks you for your support during this round of talks. We look forward to seeing you at the information session!
