Local 22 – Tentative Agreement Reached
Your Bargaining Committee is pleased to advise that as a result of discussions held on Thursday, April 3rd, a tentative agreement has been reached between the Union and the IWK.
The key issue of job security was resolved and the Bargaining Committee is recommending acceptance of the tentative agreement, which provides for wage increases of 2%, 2.5% and 3% over a three-year period, as well as other improvements.
We will be sending a package containing full details of the tentative agreement as well as a mail-in ballot to the membership early next week. Voting instructions will be included in the package.
