Local 28 – Tentative Agreement Reached

Your Local bargaining committee is pleased to advise a tentative agreement was reached with your employer on Tuesday, May 28th. The collective agreement provides for a six-year term, commencing November 1, 2009 and expiring October 31, 2015, with monetary increases as follows:  Nov 1/09 – 2.9%; Nov 1/10 – 1%; Nov 1/11 – 1%; Nov 1/12 – 2%; Nov 1/13 – 2.5%; Nov 1/14 – 3%.  Details of other monetary and language changes will be mailed to all members early next week, along with details of the tentative agreement and upcoming voting session.
