Local 48 – Nova Scotia Pension Services – Bargaining Update: Tentative Agreement Reached
Dear members of Local 48,
We are pleased to report that your Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement with your Employer on Dec. 16th. The current agreement does not expire until March 31st, 2021.
We are in the process of scheduling an information session early in the New Year to share the details of the tentative agreement with you. The meeting will be organized based on Department of Health protocols. Your Bargaining Committee will be at the meeting and able to answer any questions you have about the agreement. There will also be an opportunity to vote on the agreement at this session.
Highlights of the new agreement reached include improved benefits to vacation, health spending accounts, bereavement leave , and a new classification grid. More details to come at the information session.
