Local 50-Sherbrooke Village: Bargaining Proposals Exchanged
Dear Local 50 members,
Your Bargaining Committee exchanged proposals today, July 5, with your employer. If you are a Local 50 member and have not received a copy of the proposals, please call the Resource Centre toll-free at 1-877-556-7438 or email inquiry@nsgeu.ca and they will be sure to get a copy to you.
The Employer proposed a four (4) year term expiring March 31, 2020 with a 0% wage increase over each of the four (4) years – in essence, a wage freeze.
Bargaining scheduled for Friday, has been cancelled because the employer would like more time to review our package.
We have three additional bargaining dates set for July 19, 20, and 21.
