Local 56 _Blomindon Court – Negotiations Begin

The negotiation process for Local 56 has begun.  A bargaining survey is being mailed out to all members today (Friday, September 27th).  These surveys are very important, as they are used in the development of your proposals and your input is needed if we are to address your concerns during this round of negotiations.

Please watch for your copy.  If you do not receive a copy in the mail, please call us at 424-4063 or 1-877-556-7438 to make sure we have your current mailing information on file.

Your bargaining committee has three days of bargaining preparation scheduled on October 22nd , 23rd  and November 6th.

We have also scheduled a date for an exchange of bargaining proposals with the employer.  This will take place on November 22nd.  Once we have met with the employer and exchanged proposals we will mail a copy of the union’s proposals to all members.  We are awaiting confirmation of additional dates for bargaining and will send out another update once confirmed.
