Local 56 – Shannex Incorporated, Blomidon Court – Tentative Agreement Ratified

Your new collective agreement was ratified yesterday, with 100% of members voting in favour.

We will now begin the process of finalizing a document for signing.  Once we have the new agreement signed your employer will be able to submit calculations to government for retroactive pay.  At that point we will request information from the employer as to when you may expect your new wage rate to kick in and when to expect payment of retro wages.

Also, just a reminder that if you know any staff who have left the employ of Blomidon since November 1, 2011, please remind them to contact the employer regarding their entitlement to retroactive wages.
