Local 60 – Municipality of the County of Pictou – Tentative Agreement Reached

We are pleased to inform you that we have reached a tentative agreement with the employer.

We held our first day of negotiations on Tuesday, May 14th, 2013 where we tabled the local’s bargaining proposals. Negotiations continued the following day and we are pleased that we were able to reach a tentative agreement.

We are mailing you a copy of the proposals which should arrive on your doorstep soon. Your proposals were developed by the bargaining committee after careful consideration and analysis of input from the membership.

Highlights of the tentative agreement will be shared with you as soon as the document and discussions are complete.  The employer requires the approval of County Council prior to finalizing.

We are organizing an information session where you will be able to ask any questions you may have and gather the information you need in order to be able to vote on the agreement. Voting will be held at the information session.
