Information Session and Vote rescheduled

The vote scheduled on July 3 was cancelled due to some pages missing in the information package that was mailed out to you.

President Jessome has decided that in light of the information being missed, the vote had to be cancelled and rescheduled and the proper information provided.

If you voted on July 3, unfortunately, your vote will be spoiled and you will be required to vote again.

The committee will be presenting the employer’s offer to members during a drop-in information session held on Tuesday, July 9th between 9:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. at the Truro NSGEU office, located at 188 Robie Street. It is very important to attend this drop-in session, because it will be your only opportunity to vote on the offer.

The employer has committed to allow staff who are on shift to leave in order to attend the session and vote. Please ensure you receive permission from your supervisor before leaving.
